Why Rekey?
Rekey A lock is not changing out the whole locks with all completely new locks. Sometime when you want to get all new locks installed it can be cheaper to just have the Locks Rekeyed.
Changing the lock on your house A good reason is maybe the locks are an older style that the newer larger style locks may not fit. Installing new locks can also cost more because the parts, in my option if you just want a new key to work Rekey your locks.
