What should I have ready when I call?
For a car: the year, make and model, and where the car is. For a home or business: the address and what kind of lock is on the door. A photo of the key or lock helps.
Do you work on every make of car?
Yes, any make, model and year, including push-to-start. On a few models the car needs a factory fob to program safely. We'll tell you on the phone if yours is one of them.

What's the difference between rekeying and changing a lock?
Rekeying keeps your lock and changes the pins inside, so old keys stop working. Changing a lock replaces the whole thing. Rekeying usually costs less and is the normal choice when a key is lost. Some locks come sealed from the factory and can't be rekeyed, so those get a new cylinder or a new lock.
My key won't turn. Which service do I need?
Call and describe it. In a car it's usually a worn key or a worn ignition. In a door it's usually the lock itself. We'll tell you which, and what it costs, before we come.
